Dr Sharon Smith is one of the Co Directors of Special Needs Jungle, a leading parent led organisation offering evidence informed commentary on SEND policy and practice. She is also the Policy & Parliamentary Lead for the Down’s Syndrome Association and an independent researcher specialising in inclusion and learning disability. Sharon’s work is informed by both research and lived experience as a parent of a young adult with Down syndrome.
